Just got up to the lake again late last night. It was the Portland expo this weekend and we were selling at it for the first time. I think it went really well, but we'll have to wait and see if we are going to do it again. It's always a lot of fun to hang out with the Seattle guys though, and Emily came with us since Deena had to stay behind to open the new store up. If was fun to have her there, because we were able to go off and do our own things too; such as spend way to much money at Powell's, find a fabulous Italian restaurant (Pastini's), and spend time in new age stores. We even got some tarot cards and debated getting an official reading done.
On the way back to Spokane yesterday, my mom dropped me off at Multnomah Falls. When she said it was a short walk, I don't think she expected me to hike to the top of the falls. Totally worth it though, and something I have been wanting to do for some time now. It was fun to check something off my bucket list. Then we stopped in the Dalles at le petit provence. I little french restaurant with good French Onion soup. It was not as good as last time though, and I think it fell out of the top three for favorite soup spots. Really good food though, and a fabulous lunch.
Of course the dogs woke me up at about 5 this morning, but I made them go back to bed until 6. When we went on their morning walk, I was highly amused as someone had drawn a huge foot in the sand, so it looked as though Big Foot had come through. It's the little things that early in the morning that really make it good.
