Evening out.

So I'm sitting around my apartment getting ready for an evening out, which is rather exciting seeing as how it's been awhile. I feel kinda lame though as I wasn't able to make it out to Medical Lake today since I couldn't get my car alarm to turn off so I can get into it. Not much I could do about that though, lame as it was. Oh well. Was a fairly unproductive day all in all. I didn't a tiny amount of cleaning, baked brownies, and that's about it. Oh the life I live some days.

Went digging through my old photo box last night. Came across some great memories. It's easy to forget how good life is sometimes until you see the little things again. I got to start using smartmusic today. It's a brilliant program, I just haven't figured out quite how to use it yet. I think it could be a lot of fun though. I also just purchased my tickets for spring break and I can't wait. I'm going to spend a couple days with Jenn, Brittany, and Heather in Vancouver before continuing down to Palm Springs to see Don and Jinnie. It should be a fantastic break!

I'm officially on my 4th week of student teaching now. It's weird to think I'm that far into it already. I think it's going well though. Definitely keeps me busy though. It's a good thing. It'll be nice to be done though. I have a feeling it will go by fast though.

A new Quarter

So yesterday was supposed to be my first day of student teaching, but there was a snow day. Jen and I were trying to go down to Lewiston, but it was whiteout conditions. It was kinda crazi. Instead we ended up chilling all over Spokane and watching movies. We saw Yes Man and movie hoped to Desperaux. Both were very fun movies and it was really a very good day. I also started working on my thesis. I don't think it will be especially hard to write by anymeans. I'm also about to go to student teaching today now. Today was two hours late. This weather is absurd right now. I can't believe how much it has put life on hold. Oh well! Just keep puttering through.

A whole new year.

So I'm chillaxing at Schweitzer. It's been a fun couple of days here. We went sledding to bring in the New Year last night, and had an all around good time. We taught Collin's girlfriend Courtney to ski today, which was a lot of fun. She forgot to get off the chairlift. It was amusing for sure. Heather and I are sitting downstairs eating popcorn and just all around relaxing. It's rather nice. Not a bad way to start a new year. I start student teaching on Monday...that's kinda weird to think about. I'm not really stressing about it at all though which is nice and unexpected. I'm really kind of excited for it. I hope it goes well. So hear's a toast to the new year! May it be a fun and beautiful one!

Merry Christmas.

Its Christmas, and I very nice one at that. Nothing crazi or chaotic, just simple and laid back. We watched TV for a while, opened our gifts, went snowshoeing, shoveled the walks, watched some more TV and ate a delicious dinner. I made it over to Shane's house for a little while too which was fun, saw all the Maggarts as well as Katie. It was good to see them all. Plus we brought them presents since they broke into our house to help our dogs when we were stuck in Seattle. Never thought I'd have to say that sententce. Life is good. Listening to good music and I'm comfy and cosy. Now that is a good holiday.

Strings

Somehow, bittersweet string music always makes me feel like crying. They just get that mournful sound down pact. But in happier news, I just finished my last final. And yet I still have three pieces of homework to do...Don't really get that one. Also, my computer temporarily died on me this morning. Scared me something fierce, I managed to get it going again, at least temporarily, but now ALL my music and pics are backed up. Not a mistake I'll be making again. I think it was just spiting me though, as I did buy a new computer last night. I can't wait for it to get here! Should be about a week and that's not long at all.
